Did Sonic bite Mario's style?

Nope. Last time I checked Mario didn't need to sustain his life with Rings (Max 3 cosecutive hits does him in depending on his power up). Also, Sonic can't fly or turn into a Statue/Fox/Frog, etc.

Personally I like Sonic better (except for any console game after Sonic Adventure 1).
