At the very least, Jealousy is distracting, and degrading, especially to the one feeling it. In ignorance in a situation one might feel threatened or inadequate, as opposed to attempting acceptance, tolerance, understanding, and occasionally some moderate compromise.

It is a friend ,if it helps you to find out TO WHOM is the jealousy?thereby you can find out WHO ARE YOU. Instead if you are having it only in an objective way the jealousy is ,surely,a foe. Be SUBJECTIVE and move towards you,the one who is affected, really ,by being jealous of some others.

I don't think you can evaluate it simply as "good" or "bad" with no strings attached. There is no set of universal evaluations of every emotion known to man. We would rather not be sad, and we'd rather be happy, but there can be negative consequences from an excess of happy and an absence of sad (consider the expression: idle hands are the devils' playground).

Jealousy, in general, serves as a social defense mechanism that elicits negative feelings in order to prevent/enable a harm/benefit. Whether or not this is constructive or not depends on the situation. Finding a way to express your jealousy in constructive manners is generally healthy.

Jealous is very stupid to be and that is a waste of tie so i thinkk it is a foe whatever that means. live life and be happy and dont worry about little things like that. i guess it all depends on what jealous you are talking about but personally i think any kind of jealousy is dumb. I feel i have no reason to be jealous about anything because i feel that i am happy with whatever i have and i feel that if i really wnat somethign i will get it. that is just how confident i am.

It would not look like this guy is an particularly sturdy buddy, at the moment. have you ever seen that possibly something has happend to him? Like case in point he has been teased in college ´by technique of someone and now he needs to impact the guy who bullied him? attempt telling him the way you experience, yet attempt now to not sound advise, cuz then he will pass in the completely incorrect direction. Like ask him how come he swiftly is telling you this stuff once you've been such sturdy acquaintances? Then he will pass homestead after college and imagine about it. possibly if he knows that he did incorrect you may shake palms and be acquaintances again. sturdy success!

A friend. It checks the excesses of love and makes love last longer and enjoyable. Imagine a world without a spice of jealousy! love would run amok and chaos would reign supreme!

Jealousy is a response.

The slippery slope in dealing with it is realizing why you are reacting with such feelings.

Requires a lot of inner reflection.

It depends if it is based on promises or it is delusional. It has its place, but in general it's pretty slippery and I would be careful.
