1977. Though the movie they have just recently made i can tell is almost nothing like the book. I mean the boy and girl imagine stuff but they don't go to a new land with magical creatures. and in the end the girl dies by swinging on a rope of her tree house. Then she falls in the river, hits her head and drowns

My son talked about it on Friday. He stated he did not anticipate the ending both. He idea the tale line in the action picture might want to be in the direction of the e book than it replaced into too. there have been alot of issues that were different. He also stated the pics were all top performed.
