hello in need of help my car will only start with starting fluid i changed the plugs put new gas lines on my car is fule ingected i pump the just then trun over nothing happens but will start up with starting fluid any ideas on how to fix 88 chevy celebrity

fuel pump . check for pressure at rail . turn key on you should hear fuel pump come on for 3 sec

Have you checked fuel pressure? Should be at least 35psi.
When you turn the key to start position do you hear the normal "whine" that the intank pump makes for several seconds? If not then chek fuses, if thats ok then buy a good test light, slide under the rear of the car, find the wiring connector that goes to the gas tank and then probe the gray wire and see if it lights the test light when the key is turned on. If so then pump is bad. Dropping the fuel tank is a pain.

you have probably got the car addicted to this as it is possible to get the car addicted to easy start for example i would give it a service and persist in trying to start with out it even if it is starting from a tow the first couple of times it should be fine after a few times of trying this as i had an old car once with this problem only it was a carb so i stripped it cleaned it out and it was fine after persisting with it for about a day hope this helps

fuel isn't geting to engine.. cheak wires to injecters look to c that wires to injecters are connected and inspect wires for fuel relays and listen for the fuel pump. inspect fuel lines ect. cheak fueses
