I've been told that you have to go to certain websites that sell greeting cards if you want to sell a poem. So I did, and they all say the same thing "we have a staff of profesional poets who.....". I need to know what companies actually buy poetry. I've been told to buy this book called "poets market" or something like that. Well, to be onest with you I don't feel like spending around $25 for a book when I don't even know how much I'll make of my poems. So, if you can help me I will really apriciate it. Thank you very much.

Usually you can find a copy of the most recent Poet's Market at your local library. That way you don't have to pay a dime. You'll probably find it in the reference section.

Other than that, I don't think companies actually buy poetry. There's not much of a market for it - unless your famous.
