It depends on so many factors such as: if you like city/country living, career area, $ of living. If you like to party then go New Orleans, but if you don't like the crime there are a copuple of good sorrounding/suburban areas (Metarie/Slidell). If it's country living you want then you have a vast selection. Other large cities are Batn Rouge(capital), Lafayette, Shreveport, but I couldn'trecommend the best city.

Cities located along the coast have far less smog.....places like Long Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine.
