I just changed the massive airflow sensor on my kia sephia. It still acts like it doesnt pick up speed low gear. Almost like the fuel injector. My check engine light is still on even after i change the MAS, but it only blinks when i press on the gas. Does anyone know what I can check to see whats for sure wrong with it?

go to kragen auto or Autozone or auto parts store in your area. Borrow there computer reader. Its free, but you give a visa # until you return it or they charge you for it. (you can do this in their parkinglot). Just hook it to the chip reader in your car (all newer cars have this insid under the dash, you see it.) follow the real simple directions. It pops up code of what is wrong and lists the codes in a book that comes with the reader. These things are awsome and save you tons of money if you fix or replace yourself. Basically, it's the same thing the Mechanics use to diagnose problems with cars cuz they are all computerized now.
This takes just a coup[le of minutes to diagnose. I use it myself an I'm a woman ( no disrepect)

if your check engine light is on, go to your local Advance Auto or Auto Zone and they have a reader that can tell you what the light is on for, and that will give you an idea where to start. i dont believe they charge for it. the check engine light usually refers to an emissions problem (such as MAS, or another sensor). when it comes on, it means one of the sensors has picked something up and needs to be checked. if it starts blinking, it needs to be checked soon.

Without the proper diagnostic tools you can't.
I suggest you stop throwing money away and have a shop diagnose it.

Flashing check engine light usually means a catalytic converter damaging event is occuring, replacing the converter will be over $500 !

What year is the vehicle?
It sounds like it's getting to much air. Are you experiencing this in all gears or only in 1st.
The check engine light and problem sounds more like an Oxygen sensor.

You can take it to a mechanic and they will download the codes from your car to determine the cause of the check engine light. T
