Your thinking is on cue--but just a hundred years out of date.

A century ago, an old maid of 27 or even 23 could expect a life of barren sorrow. Today, thanks to many courageous women who have blazed the trail, you are just starting out in life and can have or do anything you want, including accomplish a lot of things, start an education, work, get married, and even have a baby up until you're well into your forties.

The only career that you may have trouble getting into at this point, given that you haven't prepared for it until now, is prima ballerina of the Moscow Ballet or something like that.

Do you STILL feel that your opportunities have closed?

Give your head a shake. You're basing this on what - 1950's stereotypes? Women for the past 30 years have had opportunities that give us the choice to choose careers/experiences over having a family. Medical research shows that women can safely have children well into their 30's. Infact a recent article shared that 50 is the new 30. People take better care of themselves, are more educated health wise to enable us to live longer lives.

You've got lots of time... I'm 33 and sooo glad I've waited. I'm financially stable, emotionally mature, and took the time to find a suitable mate. We've travelled, and have given to ourselves during the first couple of years of marriage.

My husband and I are now ready to give up our lives to start new lives without feeling like we've had to "go without".

Life now is just starting to begin...

Simple answer you smash through it !! Only 23 you are still young plenty of time. My daughter was over 30 when she got remarried last time, and had a baby.
Maybe you are looking too hard and sending out vibes that you are desperate. We guys have a natural defense against desperate predatory females looking to put rings in our noses.
