Ola Kimrin set the record of a 65 yard field goal but has been released multiple time.Does anyone know why?

Noppe I know I'm right.Dempsey shares the regular season record with Jason Elam with 63 yards.Ola Kimrin hit a 65 yarder in the pre season.

65 yards FG in the preseason really doesn't pad to your resume. (oh and it is not really 'record setting' since it happened in the preseason...which sucks, cuz if u break any record is preseason it doesn't count)
people want consistency. his only real records are in 2002 NFL europe :and it is 12-of-24 (only 50%) and 20-of-22 extra points...how do you miss an extra point?? (these stats are his foot touched the ball, not the holder dropped the ball)

I'm not sure your talking about the right person. I remember the record was set by, I think his last name was Dempsey, for the Saints in the 70's. With half a foot he kicked a 65 yarder. Then a couple of years ago it was tied by Jason Elam of the Broncos.
Pretty sure on that.

Preseason play means nothing and you can't break a record in the preseason if i remember right. Having a strong leg is not always the best thing. Accuracy and the ability to knock down the kick in the clutch is more important than if u can kick it thru the bleachers.

He may have made that long kick, but it wasn't consistently over his entire career. The biggest thing for kickers is how they handle pressure in the games, if they can make the kick in the big game or in the 4th quarter.
