That is if she really does die on the show.

yeah a lot of people say they could probably do the coma and/or memory loss thing. I just don't think the show could survive without her.

Pretty much. You can not have Grey's Anatomy, without Grey or her Anatomy. I think the writers are extremely creative and could keep the show going for another couple of seasons with the main character dead. However, I think the show could go as long as ER (that show needs to end) if they kept her around. Killing her now couldjeapordize the shows future, there are alot of new actors from this show and it would put alot of them out of work when they are still trying to get experience. Hopefully she will not die so that we may have many more years to come. I kind of got the feeling she might die after listening to a pod cast. But the next episode is called "Some Sort/Kind of Miracle" so you can pretty much figure that she will miraculously live.

Nope, it would kill the title but not the show. They would have to completely revamp the whole thoughts on life at the beginning and end of each episode, since it is primarily meredith. Of course there was a recent episode where Yang gave her thoughts and all went smoothly. In the end it is an ensamble cast, it doesn't hinge on one person, not even meredith.
with all the flap about washington's personality creating a tense work environment, I figure there will be some freak accident while trying to revive her and he will end up dead (making it a "devistating" episode, as promised by the advertising). Meredith will spend most of the episode in limbo, he will die, meet her in the middle and she'll go back so she can be Yang's "person". While I think washington was out of line, I don't think he deserves to be fired. But if they are taking someone off the show, it will be him, otherwise, the producers will end up with a lot of very angry viewers, and the show will then be dead.

Yes they could do without her. I find her very annoying all she does is whine and roll her eyes. They would have more time for the other characters. I don't think she is going anywhere.

her name is in the freaking title they cant kil her if they do that would b the stupidest thing ever if they are gonna kill anyone it would b burke because isah washington seems to have some issues with tr knight.
