Why can't girls play good bbaal? Sure they are "good" in their own leagues, but they get swept when they play with guys. Right now on ESPN there is an All-Star Celebrity game. They have 2 WNBA All-Stars in and they cant hold their own against people like Carrot Top, and guys from Desperate Houswives and Scrubs. So is it genetics or what? Why can't girls play?

To the girl that says her daughter is best in school, that is pure BS. She might make WNBA, but I have a feeling she would get scraped buy 60% of the guys out there

Hey Swifty,

If you read my question I said the girls play good in their own league. Sure the USA womens team won the gold, but they would come in dead last if they played against any country. They would also lose to most collegese and even some High Schools

Obviously that game didn't include Candace Parker. She's the best female player right now and still in college. She can dunk the ball with ease which many guys can't even do. I think more talented women players will be developing in the future as women's basketball gains more exposure.

To be honest, women play the game better than men do. They play textbook basketball and have the fundamentals better than the men.

By the way, the U.S. Women's Basketball team won the gold last summer, the men did not. Can you answer what happened there?

By the way, I'm a guy asking this question.

I am watching the same game and I am all for girls playing in the NBA or any other league but when it comes down to it they would not be able to compete with the men.

They can play. My brother and I once played two former Lady Vols in a 2 on 2 match. Sameka Randall and Tameka Catchings. Randall was like a pinball on the court. We got toasted. The lady vols practice squad is (or used to be) all big, strong guys to give them a more physical opponant.

i admire a woman who performs basketball, or relatively any pastime. i admire activities and choose directly to play a gaggle in my spare time so having a woman that still likes them and performs them is a huge activate for me. Basketball is definitely considered one of the main suitable ones a woman can play simply by fact its my sought after pastime to play.

yeah, I've kind of been noticing too. It seems as if they have no hand coordination and agility. I've seen girls basketball and I'm always wishing I could get out on the court and play because I would absoloutely dominate playing with them.

My guess would be their overall strength and athletic ability just isnt equal to mens'. I will say this though; the female players are good at the fundamental skills, and it would be nice if more NBA players followed suit.
