you say gays and minorities are okay. and i'm suppossed to accept your view. but i don't like gays and i don't like people of certain ethnic backgrounds. then why do you ***** at me when im suppossed to accept your view yet you won't accept mine? are you trying to take away my rights, thoughts, and right to live the way i want too? it sounds like discrimination to me.

These days people are under the impression that is against the law to 'offend' or hate someone.
It isn't.
It's actually protected by the First Amendment.
But,anytime someone speaks negatively about certain groups, the professional whiners get on T.V. and cry about how 'offended' they are.
The problem is, that the media gives them a forum and it perpetuates the myth that all cultures should be embraced by everyone.
Sickens me, too.

Well, try to put things into perspective. People of the left are (or seem, whatever you like) to be very open and accepting of alternative lifestyles. They would say to you that they are just being loving and accepting of other people.
People of the right, of more conservative bent, would accept what you say as being okay. They have more of a narrow view of the world.
Eventually it is up to you to be how you want. I try to preach not total acceptance, but tolerance. That doesn't mean be okay with everything, but live and let live as long as they're not treading on your lawn or putting it in your face.

I fully allow you to be a bigot. But one thing is sad about you, and that is, that you have hate or dislike of others of certain races and sexual orientations. It's a big, big world and humanity expresses itself in many shapes, sizes, cultures, customs, religions, etc. Your viewpoint is your right. But you are missing the beauty in our species by limiting yourself to your particular form of tunnel vision. And there are many like you. They don't understand another culture or say, why people are gay, so they automatically condemn and reject, because the difference is too much for them to accept. We can't all be the same can we? And those that you "don't like" are also creations in this universe, that deserve to exist just as much as you do, so what's your point? Those that are too different from you, should all die? What if you are considered that way by others? Is their viewpoint justified in wishing you were not alive? This is all such a heaping pile of crap, that it boggles the mind! Enjoy the variety of life! And if you'd stop focusing on what you hate to rather, what you like and love in life, you'll improve the quality of your own life! To me, it's a big red flag, those pointing fingers at others, are without personal happiness themselves. I don't know you, but you're telling me one thing, loud and clear! That you don't like or accept a lot of things about YOURSELF because HAPPY people won't even bother wasting their time thinking about the bad, the bent or the ugly! They're too busy enjoying their lives that are happy because of their POSITIVE attitudes towards others and life, in general! Stop worrying, buddy, get happy!!!

you are allowed if you so choose. this point in history most people will not tolerate it. no one is trying to take away your rights, you have the right to hate, just why would you want too. the things you claim to hate you should learn everything about them that you can, read and discover these things and why they are. if you still hate it after all that, well hate on.
hate takes up so much time and energy, and is a waste. we are still people, everything boils down to be the same for the most part.

It is true that there are many people who have double standards like that. I believe that you have every right to your opinion. *OPINION*. Though I do not believe that you, or anyone else has a right to and any MORE than an opinion. Such as people that commit hate crimes or taunt people. You are free to "be a bigot" as you put it, as long as you do not force your views onto other people.

You have the right to feel and believe the way you want to. Just keep in mind that others have the right to tell you how they feel and believe too. I can understand having issues with an individual, but how can you say you don't like an ENTIRE ethnic background? You are really stereotyping, and thats not very fair. But, you believe how you want to. That is your right.

Don't worry about it. Americans have been brainwashed for the last 40 years concernig minorities and perverse lifestyles.
