Ok, please read my story. My friend and I were trying to tan in my friend's backyard, and we were having trouble getting all the lines and stuff without our swimsuit overlapping. So, my friend said "why don't we just tan naked?" of course I said I thought it was gross, so I said, I would rather tan with my top off then my bottoms, because its more disgusting. And she said she would rather tan without her bottoms on. I thought it would be gross because I have a really disgusting black hairy crotch. But later she mentioned how she needed to shave her crotch and her stomach. I agreed. Is it normal to have a really black hairy crotch? Is it normal to shave your crotch for women? Should I shave my crotch, because I don’t want to have a really hairy crotch? Do you shave your crotch women? Lastly, do you think it's disgusting to tan naked, even if it's just with your best friend, and I mean like teen friend, and no way not in public, in private? we are really comfortable around each other.

I shave my bikini line and trim the rest. - It's much nicer to have shaved or trimmed pubic hair - especially when you have your period.
Dr Oz was on Oprah last week and medically he said that it's just personnal preference if you shave, wax, or go Brazilian. (all off). There are no health hazards either way if you are clean and careful.
As for tanning naked with your friend - Be SURE there are no peeping toms. But other than that, I think it's OK.
Think about using some sunscreen. You think you're never gonna get old now - but when you do you'll regret all the sun damage you've inflicted on yourself.

With you're best friend, tanning naked is OK, don't worry.
About the shaving though, don't shave, get waxed. If you shave you'll get many ingrown hairs that can get infected and that looks gross and it will hurt.
Shaving also makes the hair grow coarser, so nothing about shaving you're crotch is good, also, a nicely groomed crotch is sexier and cleaner looking.
Don't wax by your self, go to a Salon and thereafter have it done regular it will kill a large part of the regrowth.

Hello. I come from a family of 3 girls. I'm the oldest of the 3... I would not recomend shaving your bikini area. If you do it will grow back course and you will increase the risk of in grown hairs. This will show up like little red pimples. The best way if you uncomfortable about your hair down there is to book into a beauty salon and have it WAXED. You can have it all off. As in a brazillian, or you can have bikini was which is pretty much the sides so you have the confidence to wear kini (bikini) @ the beach.
As for sunbathing naked. Its completely up to you as what you feel comfortable doing. I would not recommend doing it in pubic and i would make sure its private if you do. What i would do it just wear a G string? So at least your alittle more covered.
All this does depend on your age...
Can you talk to your mum about this?

Yes it is very normal to shave your crotch, personally i think a hairy crotch is freakin gross, and just a little hint guys do too. no it is not gross to tan naked with our friend if you're comfortable together why would it be gross

So many questions! All the above are normal you can tan naked but do it in the privacy of your own home or specified beaches or else it could be illegal. secondly shaving is normal my advice is to go to a professional and have a bikini wax then all you do after is shave the hair that grows on the bits the wax had taken off, You can then keep that area tidy and you have a guideline to follow.

Yes. Shave with the Seiko Cleancut Shaver. You need the best equipment for the job. Where do all the naked women go to get tanned? That's a good question. I wish I knew the answer.

Its 2007 i say shave it all, and most of the girls i know do the same also......but it also depends on your age.....go to a salon and get a bakini wax or just leave it....or just trim it what ever you fell the most comfortable with. And no i dont think its disusting to tan naked with you best friend. Then again its 07' not the 40s were everyone was so modest. Me and my best friend sit in the sauna with no tops their just boobs

No, I don't think it's disgusting to tan naked with your friend, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable then don't.
As far as shaving your crotch, some women do and some don't. Alternatives to shaving are trimming the hair regularly with scissors or getting it waxed.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
