Huh? Physical objects are all around you. In fact, you are a physical object.
No, they are not "lumps of energy". While mass can be converted into energy, and energy into mass, they are not the same thing.
Physical objects are made up of electrons and protons and neutrons -- stuff like that.
Energy is mostly made up of photons, gravity, momentum, electric fields, etc.

A physical object is a manifestation of space itself.
It would be a lump of energy.

According to Einstein all mass is just extremely compacted energy. That is what E = m*c^2 means.
