You might want to see what kind of offers "Spirit Air" has.
They are always running cheap flight deals, but you'll need to go to an airport that has them. Sometimes you can get one way flights for as cheap as 32 dollars.

It depends on where are you traveling from. Some big cities usually have cheaper fares, like if you fly from Miami, Chicago or New York per se, would be way cheaper than if you fly from small cities.

Try using USA3000.com I used them from Baltimore to Punta Cana
in Dec. 05, very cheap and professional. They have purchased many USair jets.

I always use hotwire.com but once you check around check with a local travel agency, i have found that some of them find cheaper than online.
