the library -- if they still have microfiche machines -- you can make a copy --they probably have a more advanced tech by now -- also whatever newspaper it was in would probably have archives -- some larger papers even have there archives on-line (but you sometimes have to pay to access the older ones)

Obviously try the archives of the local newspapers. You could also see if your locality has a website like we have for leeds.

Try WRITING to the Editor, of the newspaper, in question, and, explain the reason, - or REASONS, - WHY you would like a copy of the picture! I, recently, DID so, - and, they were MOST OBLIGING, - the pic arrived, by POST, within TWO DAYS!

The News paper usually keeps them,but so does the public library.I have gotten them before.
