how do i make a GIF moving icon for myspace?

some people have cool moving images for their myspace profile, how can i make one? or do i need a program? it looks SO COOL how do i do it? any ideas?

Try using Macromedia Flash for flash type animations or if you really do want an animated .gif, try using a program called Anmiation Shop.
