I hate it whenever people call me emo and they dont even know me.?

You've chosen a style that fits your personality. That style has labels like any other. Just because YOU don't believe in labels does not mean that one is not applied to you. Say what you want, or live like your style and try not to care what others think of you...isn't that the point?

Are you an emo? If you weren't, I doubt that this would bother you so much.
That said, people like to label people. It's not right, it's not nice, it's not fair and it's rarely correct. When people call you an emo, lump them into a general category and see how they like it.
