The large monster is called a seeder, and I think the little things are spores. What you have to do is take the weapon near the door, which is called the hammer of dawn. Hold left to aim and hold right to fire the beam. You can actually kill the seeder without leaving the room, which means you are safe from the spores. To do this you have to aim through the narrow angle of the window to hit the seeder, which is on the far right.

Are you talking about the Seeder? It's a monster that shoots out spores while remaining buried in the ground. Go back inside the building and locate the hammer of dawn. It looks like a little pistol on your weapon icons but it's shaped differently. Hold the left trigger to aim at the monster. Hold right trigger, the laser sight will show up, the beams will come together, continue holding to fry the bastard, move the right stick to manipulate the beam. Hold the trigger for as long as the beam remains active, you may have to repeat the process.

OK OK i know what your talking about now you need the hammer of dawn to kill that monster you can find it at the right on the ground next to the door just hold the right trigger at the monster and a beam will come out of the sky and kill it.

The seeder? You take the hammer of dawn out and you shoot the seeder with it. very easy.
