You know what? I really don't. I know we're suppose to like it, but I've always found it really stifling and uncomfortable. I've never been able to sleep properly with someone else there. You can't spread out all over the bed, you can't toss and turn ten million times a night, it can be really hot, they steal all the duvet, or snore, or push you right over onto a tiny slice of bed, or hold you so tight that you can't move... I'm much happier sleeping alone. Although I do quite like it when my cat comes and snuggles up behind my knees on the bed, which she does in the mornings sometimes. But the sleeping thing is, I think, the main reason why I've been single for so long. I get too irritated when there's another person there. I think I should be in the eighteenth century or something, where men and women have separate bedrooms. Maybe I'd be more likely to keep a relationship that way...

You're making me long for that one true love that I have yet to find. The closest I can come to this now is having one of my children fall asleep in my arms.

Well, guess I'm the oddball...again! My husband and I both fall asleep best when we are next to each other. But, we are both most comfortable and fall asleep easier if we have some space. The only exception is that our feet are often touching.

Actually, no. I like to fall asleep lying close to someone but not all entwined. I get too warm and I guess a little claustrophobic.

Yeah, I did once on a bus. Then I woke up and the guy who was sitting across from me was staring at me. But only if the person is someone I can truly love. That time it was.
