Due to a corrupt hard drive, I attempted to install a new hard drive. I tried to follow the instructions that came with it, but, when I shut down and tried to restart, it came up 'black'. Now, that's all I get. I even tried to re-install the old 'drive' . Nothing.
Is there a web site I can visit that will be able to help? Or is it a lost cause?

Mabye you want to try and reseat the ram. If those aren't making a connection it would cause your problem. It's possible you knocked it loose when installing the new drive.
