The octopus is the strangest animal to me. I can watch one for hours. I'm very fascinated by the way he can change the color and texture of his skin. His tentacles and the way the eyes are set in his head are very mysterious. The octopus also has an unusual mouth..

There's an earless dog, a chicken with webbed feet, a frilled shark, botfly larva, a mite that lives in your eyelashes, a two-faced pig, sucking sea spiders, a fish with humanlike teeth, a pygmy squid, a blind lobster with furry legs ... amongst many more.

I dont know of many real weird looking creatures but if you like weird creatures then just for fun you could read the fictional book Ricky Gervais' Flanimals!

Allegany hellbender are weird and they get big.
Bristle worms-they are basically a saltwater earthworm. But if they are in a reef tank they can be a promblem cause they live in the live sand and live rock and can start eating or destroying the rock or coral.
The brain coral,
Pincher shrimp it will draw blood and is as fast as a gun and is extremely small.
Flamed scallop they are beautiful but weird cause they can hop on there 1 foot or blow acroos your tank or sea.

Mudskippers. Anything that lives near a volcanic vent or at the bottom of the ocean. Exotic preying mantises (the ones that look like orchids or dead leaves). Hammerhead sharks.

I would say a hagfish, they're these pinkish looking eels with really ugly faces and if you pick them up, you get a bunch of slime on your hands and the hagfish will slip away. Not that I've ever done that before, but I saw it on Animal Planet and it was really gross! But interesting at the same time.

I know of a strange looking fish. It's called a dog faced puffer fish. You can probley search it and find pictures. There cool looking.I let you know if I think of any more.
