You could get into most colleges with that GPA coupled with the clubs that you participate in. If you have a job on top of that, it also adds to the mix. Apply to every college you want or are even interested in...My theory is "Don't ask, don't get". Keep up the good work and best of luck to you.

If you work really hard and take the preSAT tests and SAT tests and get a very high or perfect score, you won't have to worry--the colleges will want to recruit YOU.
Junior colleges, state colleges and universities are usually the easiest to get into. Some states have incentive programs for people interested in enrolling in certain fields. I went to a major state university on scholarship because I agreed to teach school within that state for a certain number of years-a really sweet deal, and all I needed was to be in the top 10% of my class. You may wish to check to see if there are programs like this in your state.
Private universities seek out people with exceptional records. My niece was her class valedictorian and had perfect scores on her SAT tests. She was recruited by a prestigious private university in the Mid West, and all her expenses were paid. Some of my classmates back in the '60s had similar experiences-as I said, I wasn't in their league, but still had good enough grades to go to a state university.
Check with your guidance counselor on what state scholarships are available, and what you need to do to qualify for them. Use them as a backup, and go for the gold--valedictorian and perfect SAT.
The best of luck to you!

Where do you want to go to school? East coast, West, South, etc? Do you want a big school or a smaller one? W/ a good GPA you can get into most places, but you need to narrow it down a little more.

With that kind of GPA, you can get into most colleges. You might want to work on your spelling, first, though :)

Go to www.princetonreview.com, click on colleges, and click on Counselor-O-Matic. It will show you your perfect matches. That's what I did and I'm now at one of the colleges it recommended to me. Sounds like you're really on top of things...that's awesome! Have fun!

It depends on what you are planning on majoring in. For example, Harvard is great for law and MIT is great for technology.
