Yes I think he has enough energy to run to the water cooler to get Shaq & Wade a drink or two during the game.

Scotty Pippen is not coming out of retirement to play for Miami. Miami has enough has beens on there team as it is. Shaq, Alonzo Mourning, Gary Peyton, and Eddie Jones. Not to mention washed up SEC players Antoine Walker and Jason Williams. Dwayne Wade is Miami's only good player. They're fortunate he can carry a lot on his back.

I really don't like the idea of old players, who are past the time they can be real contributors, coming out of retirement for a last shot at glory. And the fact that Pippen is doing it to troll for a 7th ring on what will really be the efforts of other players makes the whole notion even more distasteful. Yeah, MJ did it in Washington, but it only served to tarnish an otherwise stellar career. Dude should be happy with what he has and move on to the next stage of his career.
Scottie has also said he'd like to go into coaching, he did a brief stint as a special assistant in Los Angeles that I heard was successful. It would be nice if he could take his experience and defensive knowledge and put it to use on the bench, teaching today's young players the importance of team effort and defense. Maybe he should focus on getting ring #7 as a coach.

I think it is not a good move coz Scottie Pippen is too old to compete with the young guys. Plus, he will ruin the offense of Miami Heat which has already a line up that will suit in defending their Title. So for me, forget it!

hahahahahahha... of course wade thinks its a good idea because that boy cant do anything by himself! he isnt getting much from shaq lately so if pippen comes in who knows what will happen! right now the team needs all the help they can get.
but im curious... this is all so fishy to me. pat riley says he's coming back after the all-star break and then this whole pippen thing. is this team really that desperate to win another championship or something???

He wants to come out of retirement, but the Heat part is premature. He hasn't said anything about any specific team. Most likely some team will sign him to a 10-day contract and see if he can show them something. He will be primarily asked to show leadership and a defensive presence. He will be showcasing some stuff tonight at the Celebrity All-Star thing. No doubt he can be of help, especially to a young team.
