I'm sorry, I'm a female and I think this is like the grossest thing a female can do. Leave her blood-stained panties soaking in the sink! I'm visiting a friend of the family and walk into the bathroom and the sink is full of crimson colored water and panties that have been sitting there since YESTERDAY! Why do females DO this??????

I'm pretty sure any woman with a cycle has gotten a spot or two in her undies. But hers are SOAKED, i mean like the whole sink has red water In it, I had to use the bathroom and i couldnt fathom washing my hands while her panties were floating around in bloody water. Ive "spot treated" mine and threw them in to be washed and they came out just fine. Not to mention these aren't vickies or anything. Just plain ol cotton Hanes Her Way panties that come 7 in a pack for like 5 bucks at walmart!!!!!!

the reason why females soak their period panties is because when blood gets into them and you soak them in cold water the stains comes right out and there are no problems i mean i do it to and what if you go the laundry mat and what if they fall out you will be embarrassed so you should always soak them let them dry and put them back in the dirty clothes if you want to ( but don't ever leave them around when company comes over!!!!)

Soaking Her Panties

Probably because she's too lazy or dumb. She could have soaked them in old empty container with bleach. She must have some serious stains to have to soak them overnight. Yuck. I agree with you that that is disgusting... to think of brushing your teeth, washing your hands, or even if a guy uses that same sink to hold water while he shaves! Ewww Let me stop!

She wouldn't have to do that if she kept a calendar so she would know when her period is coming. Not everyone soaks their underwear, because not everyone stains their underwear. It's not so much weird, but a waste of time to do that if she just had a calendar then that wouldnt happen. Plus, doesn't she have a washer machine? I never handwash underwear, that's what the washer is for.

Oh, Yuck! I totally agree with you. I used to clean houses for a living, and have stubmled across this and much worse... I don't understand why people do that... It seems that it would be better to go out and buy your period panties in bulk.. if the plan is to bleed all over them... I prefer tampons.... works wonders!

panties will be stained even if we put pads on it the best thing to do is wash it off right away using mild soap or bath soap and a little of chlorine... however dont soak it for everybody's view...that's very unfeminine

I never even fathomed such a thing, I'd douse the sink with lighter fluid and torch it! there is no way I would go near that sink!

For Christ's sake "Shout it out!"

First off, that is unsanitary. Second, that's dumb. Period blood isn't as potent and staining as normal blood; if this ever happens, you can just throw them in the wash and it will come out fine.
Let her know, girl. Let her know.
