What kind of a pathetic argument is that?! What did the criminals ever do to you or your family? What "vengence" do you have to take unless it was your family who a child molester or a murder attacked? Explain where this so called "vengance" comes from!
You pro-criminal idiots KNOW that without the vengance card, you have NOTHING to stand on!!!! You just DON'T WANT HANEOUS DEMONS TO BE PUNISHED!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU NOT WANT THEM TO DESERVE HARSH PUNISHMENT!!! DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT THEY CAN BE REHIBILATED? DEFEND YOUR TERRIBLE ARGUMENTS!!!!

Wow you liberals are dumb! Not ONE of you has explained where the "vengance" is in the death penalty!
BY THE WAY, KILLING THOSE WHO HAVE KILLED ISN'T ABOUT "TEACHING VALUABLE LESSONS" OR "WORRYING ABOUT THE CRIMINALS INNOCENT FAMILY"!!!!!!! IT'S ABOUT THE PUNISHMNET FITTING THE CRIME!!!! I DON'T CARE IF IT IS A DETERANT OR NOT!!!!! THAT IS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!!! ITS ABOUT RIGHTFULLY PUNISHING THEM FOR WHAT THEY DID TO INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!!! WHY CAN'T YOU ******* EXCEPT THAT? WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO THESE MURDERS?

Liberals will always feel that it's unfair to punish criminals harshly. That's just how libs are. They think the death penalty is barbaric and vengeful. But keep in mind that these are the same people who have sympathy for terrorists and homicide bombers as well. I am in favor of the death penalty. I see nothing wrong with protecting our society from violent criminals and dangerous predators. I don't really care if it's a deterrent to crime or not. It's like you mentioned - it's about the punishment fitting the crime. The most important thing is that we won't have to worry about them getting back on the streets and committing their atrocious acts ever again, will we?
I am also tired of libs saying that it's racist and wrong to carry out the death penalty unless the same percentages of races (white, black, Asian, Hispanic, etc.) are executed. That makes no sense whatsoever because these races do not always commit the same number of murders so that's ridiculous. Race should not matter, but again they play the race card. But what I really don't understand is why liberals insist that the death penalty is inhumane. It's quite the opposite. It's certainly a heck of a lot more merciful than the type of killing that the murderer himself probably carried out. Nonetheless, liberals insist that it would be a greater punishment to keep them confined in a tiny prison cell for life. Well..... isn't that rather cruel too?? Sure, they want to keep these perpetrators in prison forever, yet are continually against building more prisons. How idiotic is that?!

I don't buy the "vengeance" angle. Not all monsters are works of fiction, and the sad but true reality is that some people are monsters. The blogbaba doesn't like the racially lopsided manner in which the death penalty has historically been administered, but in truth I wouldn't have wasted a dime of tax payers money on a creature like say Jeffery Dalmer. You couldn't have thrown the switch fast enough on a guy like that.
Still life is precious and irreplaceable so you can make the argument that Hitler and Mother Teresa were both equal in the eyes of God. You just can't sell it to the blogbaba. The world is simply a better place without people like Osama Bin Laden in it.

Christians have authorized of capital punishment for an prolonged time. Why is it without notice barbaric? The dying penalty wasn't designed to be abused (because it replaced into with Christ). this is in place to rid society of the degenerate scum that have not got any purpose of reform. maximum large-crime convicts are in hassle with the regulation back if/whilst they're released. The dying penalty avoids wasted tax money via no longer prolonging the impending.

1. The death penalty cannot be carried out without bias. More blacks and minorities are executed.
2. The death penalty is not a deterrent to crime. No one who commits a heinous crime believes that they will be caught. Thus, how could the potential punishment for getting caught possibly be a deterrent?
3. Applying the death penalty is more expensive than life in prison without possibility of parole due to the exhaustive legal process.
4. If the victims really wanted someone punished for life, they would wish them to be some big bad man's girlfriend... not escaping life.

Honey it's vengeance that's the problem with the death penalty it's the all too human justice system that can and does make mistakes which means innocent people can be put to death and there's no way to go back and fix the mistake. That is the major problem.

The reason I agree with the death penalty is because the inability of most violent criminals to ever reform. The statistics prove this. Why should they be kept in a cage at the expense of the rest of the population. Lifers will usually continue to kill and harm people even behind bars.

The vengeance is in the fact that death penalty does not prevent crime. In other words, it is useless. The only reason for death penalty is to make the victim feel better.
Those states in the US that do NOT have death penalty have the lowest crime rate and vica versa.

Well its a little hypocritical isn't it? You killed so we will kill you! What a lesson that is to teach. Also criminals have innocent families too, is it fair to put more families through that sort of loss, the criminal should pay not everyone they know

Unfortunately, the criminal justice system has become about rehabilitation and not punishment. You see the same attitude with terrorism. Liberals do not want to punish the enemy, they only want to figure out why they are so mad.
