work a thin wire all the way through one end of the hole, and out the other...since the wire is more firm, it won't just bunch up....then tie the end of the string to it, and pull back through! Voila!

Get a large safety pin and pin it on the end of the string. Use the pin to run the string back through its hole. Next time you put the sweatshirt in the wash take the safety pin and attach it again but this time also attach the other end of the string so they are pinned together. The string won't go anywhere when you wash and dry it. Keep the safety pin handy for the next wash. No problem! If you can put a big enough knot it the string it might not come out again.

If your sweatshirts holes are big enough for you to tie a knot at the end of the string, then knot it and attach a safety pin to it. It's easy to thread that through to the end. If not, then just put the safety pin on the string and thread it through. This works everytime! I work in laundry, so we do this often. Good luck!

Use a safety pin on one end and thread that through the channel for the string. To keep it from coming out in the first place you can get it even so the same amount hangs outside on each side. Then close to the opening (on each side) tie a knot big enough to keep it from going back into the channel itself. Or tie the knots at the end of each string. Make the knots big enough that they can't slip back in. Saves lots of hassle.

A safety pin works well, it takes a little while to scrunch it up and work it back through. But in the future, save yourself some time, and make sure the string is tied in a knot before you wash it! A loose square knot works well, so you can untie it when it comes out.

Bobby Pin! The grommet on my sweatshirt was too small for my safety pin to fit through, so I pierced the string below the aglet (the stiff, round part like on shoelaces- I just looked it up) and then pulled it so the string rested in the bottom of the V of the bobby pin. Then just thread it through, guiding with your fingers.

I think you are talking about the string that tightens around your face (on a hoodie) and around your waist on shirts and sweat pants. It's easy, just straighten out a coat hanger. Tie a piece of thin string onto the coat hanger and use some tape to hold it on. Feed the coat hanger through until it comes out the other end. Tie your string onto the thread and pull it through until it comes out the other end. Now do yourself a favour and pull both ends of the string out until they are equal in length . At the back of the shirt, sew a little thread into the string (on the inside of the shirt) and you won't have that problem ever again.

tie the string on to a safety pin and work it through the seam to prevent this from happening tie knots at the end of the string once you get it back through so it won't come out again

Take a safety pin and attach it to the end of the string. After you insert it into the hole for the string you can then inch your way through it by gently pulling the safety pin.

Use a clothes hanger (metal)! Straighten it out and then make a small hook at the end. Tie the string to the hook and work it through the sweatshirt. =) Good luck!
