Well, just in my own point of view, i dont think its really possible to compare the 2 subjects cuz they are like from 2 completely different categories. But i do agree with you on the possiblity of creativity being one of the cool parts of english, and if i had to choose between the 2 topics, i´d pick english cuz im really bad at maths lol. But the cool thing about maths is that..once you understand how something works, it becomes totally logical and self-explainatory from then on...so i still think its an interesting subject. :)

English!
I'm in Advanced English (well I'm in Advanced Math too) and I love it. You get to be so creative and write stories. But in math, like you said, your answer is either right or it's wrong. There's really no room for creativity in math. Another thing I like in English is reading poems and interpreting what the author meant. You feel like you really connect with and understand what the author was trying to say.

English. Although there is a creative and intuitive element in the highest forms of math, English surpasses it in that department.

Math because its not as deep thought as English literature. I like to find THE answer and know the concept on how to get it.
I'm weird lol =P

English - I taught it at high school level for over 30 years, and it's true that every story, novel, play or poem offers an infinite variety of ideas and interpretations. That's what made it so interesting to teach.

I could never do English. Even though theres many answers I could never get the right answer. (except spelling/punctuation/grammar, cos they all have one answer). Maths is so logical, and like u say theres only ONE answer to questions (except in quadratic equations, where theres 2!), and i love that.
