I hope they win this year. They will get into the playoffs seeded 5th-8th. They will be the underdog that the other Eastern teams will under estimate. They play better on the road and since they will have more road games will win more games in the other teams home ice. They will take each round to 7 games and will be the Eastern Conference Champs.
Ask any Ottawa fan if they want to face the Leafs in the playoffs.
They will all say no because the Leafs know how to take an underated team and find a way to beat a supposedly better team.
The Leafs will be like last years Oilers and like the Flames of two seasons ago.

Are you kidding, The Leafs are terrible. Cup are you serious? They are talking about another chance to grab the eighth playoff spot again this year! Dude get a life and watch a real team without dreaming about a cup, The Sabres! Leafs are a joke!

I dont know but I think they need to trade Mats Sundin and go through a rebuilding stage. The biggest mistake they made was letting Pat Quinn go. He was an awesome coach who really got the Leafs going. They have some decient young talent. Give them some time they will come around.

Not in your lifetime. Raptors are actually IMO, the team to beat in the East by the time play-offs roll around. They would get smoked in the finals but they have potential, whereas, the Leafs don't have much potential.

In the year 2054

They will end the drought by defeating the Mexico City Aztecs in 7 games but lose the cup on the flight back to Toronto.
