seeds are people in a network that has the file you want they have it 100% peers are people in the network that are currently downloading the file. depend on how many seeds and peers you are connected to for a faster download.

seeds (100%)have the full file and are uploading it to you and others.
peers are those who are downloading the file
you will be a seed when u have it all

it seems there are not as many seeders as we are lead to believe!
