Dude, are you serious? I appreciate anyone just getting into music, but this one won't fly. If you were to find one, you wouldn't want it. It would be such a hunk of junk. My friend and I found a VERY decent Pearl 6 piece for under $500 at Music-go-Round. We were astounded. I would go there, or a pawn shop...don't trust them too much, though. Serisouly though, for your own sake, don't buy a set under $200. Or become a real musician, save some money, and buy a guitar. You'll get more ladies anyway.

Believe it or not, I found one at a garage sale...the owners were asking $75, and I asked if they would tak $50, they said yes.
Bass, snare, floor tom, two smaller toms, high hat, 2 other cymbals, all the hardware except the throne and sticks.
Drive around to neighborhood sales, you never know what you'll find or what the people will take for an offer.

i might want to save round and check out both new and used drum gadgets. examine track shops, the newspaper. Ludwig seems a sturdy set for a respectable fee. As for cymbals, i might want to propose Zildjian. they're outfitted hard, can take a lot of abuse, and they sound large!!! i might want to advise 14" severe hats, a 16" crash, a 18" crash, and a 20" experience. this can get you rocking!!!!
