Grey's Anatomy!!..... question!!?

What do you think is going to happen to Dr. Meredith Grey?? I almost cried because of last night's episode!!

I think she's going to be fine. Considering the name of the show is "Grey's Anatomy", as in Meredith Grey's anatomy, there's just no way she'd be leaving the show. She's the main protagonist.

I also think that perhaps why they did it is for two reasons... It was to show how important she is to George O'Malley. At the end of the show, Izzie lists what she believes in and one of the things she says to George is something along the lines of, "And I know that even though you made a mistake marrying Calley, you'll pull through". Second, to move the plot along... we see that Izzie is now confident again, believes in something, and in on the road to getting over Denny. Also, with Meredith dying on the table, it leaves a lot of room for growth in the series because they can do almost anything now... perhaps a revelation, or a new appreciation for life, or whatever. Who knows? Not to mention, she "wakes" up seeing Denny!

I guess all in all, it just leaves so much room for growth in the series.

Okay,

She is dead and talking to dead people.

The next dead person she must talk to is her mother.

Ellis is dying while everyone is focused on Meredith.

The whole thing her is to get them in a place where they can tell each other they love each other. They need to tell each other what they did not say when they had the chance three shows ago.

Meredith will come back to live but Ellis will die allowing Meredith to move on with her life , her career, and possibly Derek.

i really hope they dont kill off meredith...

ive been reading every spoiler and blog out there... so im trying to convince myself they wont... but i agree with some of the other people...

i think its an easy way for them to give meredith a whole new perspective without taking a whole season to develop it... i mean maybe she'll stay in a coma for awhile... maybe she'll wake up and want to marry derek... maybe she'll wait up with amnesia... maybe she'll wake up and jsut remember mark.. or george... or so many things can happen...

but i think 1) she will live 2) this will show derek HOW much he loves her 3) it will break up george and callie(i think she'll see him and realize he'll never care for her like that) and 4) christina will become a little more human(because even with burke shot last season... she was still kinda machnical... but meredith is her person.. so )

I JUST HOPE MEREDITH AND DEREK STAY TOGETHER(because all the people saying they cant because of the drama... look at friends once monica and chandler got together they worked... and the other characters developed more drama...)

Well, since the show is called "Grey's Anatomy" I don't believe they will let her die...Then it would just be "Anatomy"...

I think this will be a life changing experience and she will either want to marry Derek or take some time apart from him to focus on her career.

like many others have said, it wouldn't really make sense to kill off the show's namesake.

i think she will be fine, more or less, and that derek will ask her to marry him probably first chance he gets.

and, yea, i did shed a few tears as well last night.

She is the show and without her there wouldn't be a show. She'll pull through and back to the same ole gal. If she died the show would end.
