I have a 1997 chevy cavalier with about 137,000 miles on it. Recently, my low beams weren't working, but I was able to drive with my brights. Now, my brights won't even come on! The bulbs aren't burned out! Any suggestions??

they work on a ground system meaning they dont turn on till the ground is applied. i would get a proper tester and make sure they have ground and positive applied to them. may be a switch, short in a wire, or even a fuse.

Could be your ecu, and like 1 other guy said, check the fuses under your hood as well. Could be your battery but not as likely, still have it checked though. Id say hope its the battery or fuses because if its the ecu, that isn't cheap.

this may be a problem in the multi function swith aka turn headlight and so on. the only real way to tell is to test it . you probabley need to take it to a shop. sorry.
