A "flat" is a shoe with less than a .5 inch heal. These shoes include sneakers, flip-flops, loafers... well anything with out a high heal, kitten heal, wedge, or platform.

A flat shoe is just that , it has no heel. It's flat, flip flops are flat, ballet slipper type shoes are flats. Some loafers are flat.
Old fashioned running shoes or what you call deck shoes are flat.

It's anything that doesn't have a heel. Or maybe a real small heel - like less than an inch. Tennis shoes are flats - but usually dressier shoes - like loafers or say saddle shoes - would be called "flats". Hope that helps.

A flat shoe is a shoe that has not heel or a very small bump. if you turn one upside down it should be ' flat ' and have no heal. These shoes are said to be very comfortable and if you can find a cute pair of ballet shoes they can be very cute too.

Flats are usally an oval kind of shoe. That has no kind of heel. But @ times there is a little pice of something there to make a little of a heel. You can wear flats with dresses, skirts, and even maybe jeans.

well have you ever heard of "ballerina" flats? they're not the kind that ballerinas wear, but they're flat and sometimes have little bows at the toe.
