What if they interviewed the gay man, and he said "i don't like black people. I don't trust them. I hate them!" What would Tim Hardaway say? Would he react with anger? All minority groups, whether it's a race or a lifestyle, deal with prejudice. Plus, it would seem like most black guys would not want to associate with gay people. It needs no explaining.

Also, if any gay person, or any straight person for that matter, were to say, "I hate black people! i don't trust them! they are evil", etc. We would never hear the end of it! There would be riots, the person would be marked for death by gang members, rappers, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Urkel, Kayne West, etc. But i guess the other way around is ok, in a black man's eyes. Maybe? Maybe not. I don't know.

It really affect the black community when Black Celebrities spread messages of hate!! Tim Hardaway is a very ignorant man and so are other people him who spread messages of hate! Its one thing to disagree with homosexuality, but to blatantly put us in a category together and then say you hate us as collective group is Wrong!!! Especially when you don't even know any gay people personally. Many black men are insecure any way! thats why the rate of men who leave their families are a staggering number of black men! I should know my Father left me and my twin sister who happens to have cebral palsy due to medical malpractice!!! Those of you that are black may have heard of being on the down low. Those are gay black men who have sex with other men while they are married or, dating women. But then they often turn around and commit anti gay acts and deny their gay actions!!! You can go to a black church and often here the preacher dogging out gay people, rap music, celbrities, and all kind of other people , but let their be a scandal in the church but its all hushh hush!
It also is very anoying when people make bible jokes like rocknrod04 said the first people were Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. thats not funny, but you know what this is not the first time the church has condemed a group of people! they have done it since the beggining of time and I hate to say this but I can almost guarantee that Tim Hardaway practices christianity! I have read the bible several times but i know what I believe in my heart! It doesn't matter what anyone has to say. If God should condemn me to hell then what other choice do i have? My lifestyle is not a game or a show it is me and that is all I can be!

Unfortunately, we live in a sick world. Blacks against whites; now gay vs straight. Tim Hardaway should've kept his mouth shut. Blacks struggled to get where Hardaway is, he's forgiving who paved the way for him. Buck O'Neil never received his honor in the Hall of Fame and now this...

What FLOORS me is the reaction everyone is having to what he said. So he does not like Gay people. So what! The man was expressing his OPINION. Everyone does not like EVERYONE. We all have someone or some group that piss all of us off. But the media is acting like he was an astronaut stalking another astronaut. Give me a break!!

Many white people do not like gays either , especially God fearing ones . In the beginning it was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve . Sodomy is still a crime in many states .

Well, if he was white, it would have made the front pages of all the newspapers and been all over the news a whole lot more than it is.
