Tends to be misleading. Not a great deal. Price does not include monitor, speakers, or modem or wireless. Many of the standard options need to be upgraded. After you upgrade the options and buy the monitor and speakers elsewhere the total price goes from the advertised $499.79 to $1050.
I recommend the following upgrades:

Memory from 512 to 2GB +180

+ $250 Add speakers with subwoofer + 19" LCD monitor (buy elsewhere)

You may want to increase the hard drive size if you plan to store a lot of music or movies on it. Standard option is 160GB
