Bush and Cheany should both be strapped to about 10 tons of cement and threw off over the side of an aircraft carrier, out in the middle of the ocean and left there and then put up a banner that says MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!. We should not even be fighting the war on terror, there is no such thing, it will never be civilized in the Arab countries, they have been at it for thousands of years and will be at it for thousands more. What kind of thing ever influnced you to ask a question of this magnatude. Either one of these guys has the trust of its own party or anyone else in this world for that matter except for their cronies, big oil, no bid contractors, military contractors, the royal family, and you get the picture.

First things first. Iran is another country. I'm pretty sure that Congress would have to ok it. Geo. W. would then have to convince the Congress all over again to attack a sovereign country based on whatever evidence he(et al) can contrive. I don't think they will fall for it again and especially with the Dems controlling both houses and many Republicans offside. Remember, even IF Iran were to be able to develope a nuclear weapon and even to 'deliver' it somehow, they would be inihilated. It's fanciful to think even with all the verbal 'bluster' coming out of that country that they could hold the 'world' at bay, or swing much power over there. They are meddling, but that's it. They can be dealt with, but war on another front - poppycock!!
Oh yes, I forgot - What Republican party?? Anything about this 'party' resembling a political entity to faithfully 'govern' the USA based on it's performance in every way is a joke! The Whitehouse is a moot point. Live with it GOP!! You are trying to beat down the virtual gnat with a sledge hammer! Iraq was helpless before being attacked. W. went after the wrong 'guys'. Who the heck piloted those planes into the WTS? Saudis for gawd's sake - I'll not expound on that other than to say that the Bush family has been 'stroking' the Saudis for decades.

No, because it is clearly evident that if we do nothing they will attack us in the near future. Just listen to wht Iran's leaders are saying in the public media. The on an almost daily basis say they will wipe Israel off the map and come after us and all that will not convert to Islam next.
However you must tke into account that the majority of the people of Iran do not agree with their leadership. Starting a war there would be one of the biggest mistakes the US or the world community could do. If the majority of the world were to turn their backs on them and shut them out, those who are the majority would be forced to act against their government for the good of their own country. The president would be a fool to go in there now. If we go to wr it would have to be because they make a move on the US first. As it should be. As a note: it does appear as they already have as Iranian elete soldiers (out of uniform) and weapons have now been confirmed in Iraq and were orderd by the Iranian government to be there.
Far as 08' election goes anyone who will be president is just there for the $$ and not the interest of our country or her people. They are all lying to us.

yes it would hurt the republicans.
if america cant handle iraq , what the hell makes anyone think it would be able to handle iran.
it would be a disaster for this country , the middle east is a powder keg full of ethnic and political tension, it would be very unwise for america to invade iran.
I'm sure most republicans in congress would not let bush invade iran. the republicans will choose political survival, rather than being loyal to bush.
as a result of supporting bush, they lost the midterm elections. i doubt they will let that happen again.

It would depend on how the second war went. If Bush managed to secure a positive outcome quickly it might improve the electorate's view of the man. If it went badly, however, the American mood would turn very strongly against the Republicans-- or at least any Republicans who had openly supported Bush's decision to go to war.

Personally I don't think Bush can damage the Republican party any more then he already has. He will go down as
1. The lowest IQ president ever to step foot in the whitehouse.
2. The worst president in the history of this country.
It will take decades to unwind the damage that he has caused.
Its a good thing he doesn't care about what people think.
Because a larger and larger percentage of Americans think is a abysmal failure.

You still don't get it do you! Are you that dumb??? This isn't about '08. I won't even bring up the fact that your side has YET to come up with a solution of its own!!!
Bomb Iran please G.W. Bush. Do not listen to the left and their anti-America agenda. I am ready to join the fight and do something for my country rather than constantly bringing it down.
How many others will join me? Or will it interfere with your starbucks and your malls?
This country has become a joke. A joke to the world. One who backs down and doesn't stand behind its allies when the going gets tough. We've let hippes, tree huggers, global warming idiots, political correction, etc. cloud our judgement. What a sad day for this great country.
We've become a nation of spoiled adult brats.

Leaders opt to have a sturdy war below their belt for the record. infantrymen be killed? They joined up did not they? they're keen to kill others are not they? If the armed provider chiefs might want to tell the authorities that they are going to in elementary words wrestle to guard the native land and not in any respect to faux that politically disliked international locations pose a danger which they do no longer then...

well... what would happen if we did bomb Iran... they COULD freak out and cut off the oil, world wide oil prices would triple...
and gas would be $4 a gallon...
I'm sure America would love that...
and then of course they probably have their nuclear plants under aspirin factories and democrats would bring it up for years, just like Republicans still bring up Clinton's bombing...
and if all we are doing is bombing... it's not like we can go in there and dispute their findings...
I think it would hurt them... especially due to the potential Iranian actions...
but maybe Iran wouldn't do anything? but I somehow doubt that...

What's he go to lose? Seriously, the only reasons for doing that is if they have made a nuke or they are caught red-handed in Iraq aiding insurgents.
If either of those scenarios comes to light, then Iran is toast.
