Today's liberalism is a mental disease. It's primary cause is the cowardice born of extreme self-centerdness. Too afraid to admit the existence of the forces of evil which will stop at nothing less than genocide, the liberal deludes himself into the comforting fantasy that these forces of evil are merely victims and that they can be brought around by 'right action' on the part of the US. The liberal then blames the US and patriotic Americans for the state of affairs. The
liberal further comforts himself by believing that, in attacking America, he is battling the forces of evil like a true hero. Anyone who points to the factual errors in this mode of thinking is forcing the liberal to confront his own
cowardice and irrationality. That's why they react with such hatred to anyone who disagrees with their dogma. As this dogma gets reinforced through decades of repetition in the media, it gets more and more pronounced.

Today's liberals have thus become traitors
whose cowardice has led them to make common cause
with the enemies of America. They have willingly

The self-centeredness comes from parents and how they raise their kids. They worry about the child's feelings and teach their child a high self-esteem. A high self-esteem means that a person thinks they are more important than they actually are in the world. What kids need is a positive self-image. They need to realize that they are good no matter who they are.

Out of this self-centeredness comes the narcissism of self. Liberals believe that their opinion must be heard (because after all, they are very important). They go around and try to tell others what to do. They value high status items like degrees and job titles because what they have is way more important than who you are as a person. Ever notice that Christianity teaches people to be a good and righteous person?

Liberals also think that capitalism is unfair because there are so many have nots. What they do not get is Americans are entitled to an equal opportunity, not equal outcome.

You know the Nazis use to say the same things about the liberals in Germany. They would also say that by invading Poland preemptive they were stopping a major threat to Germany's national security and then they did it to Czechoslovakia, Norway, Holland, France, Russia, etc...They wanted the whole world to be safe for Nazis-ism & if it wasn't for a bunch of Godless communists in Russia they might have succeeded. You are right that liberalism is a mental disease because they tend to "love" people to death but radical conservatism or Fascism is a much worse mental disorder, just look at Hitler.

I think you're being a little harsh - I'd like to believe that they are just deluded, unrealistic and idealistic "live and let live" left over hippies. They cannot conceive of anyone mean enough to want them dead, psychotic enough to strap on an explosive vest stuffed with lethal shrapnel and head out to a crowded marketplace or demented enough to believe that this is what their God demands of them.
I used to think that all they needed was a wake up call - but after 25 years of terror and murder perpetrated against Americans around the world and the events of 9/11 - I'm kind of suspecting that a wake up call won't help if you're in a coma.

Your mistake is thinking that all liberals and all conservatives agree with their comrades on ALL issues. I have both liberal and conservative viewpoints. An intelligent person considers his/her position issue-by-issue. Only an idiot depends on their political party to tell them how to think. I think the invasion of Iraq was justified when Saddam threw out the U.N. weapons inspectors. We deposed Saddam and destroyed the weapons he had. Now it's time to wrap it up. I'm a Vietnam veteran.
