Make -up is a art form it can enhance your natural beauty and bring out a healthy color if applied correctly-Every movie star even the men wear it because t.v. makes people look a lot paler think it is fun to do but I do not wear it at all times.cream based products are easear to apply and blend and are by far easier on your skin.It really helps to tone your skin with a Astringent cleaner like witch hazel or sea breeze first then apply a good lotion .They make the base make-up stay on longer without that made up painted look.But remember 2 things 1-make -up can also be called war paint and 2-its your inner beuty that truely counts.

You mean women who put on make up to look "natural"? LOL That's funny. I think the purpose of make up is to cover up blemishes or even out your skin tone (if you wear foundation), and eye make up should be very discreet, mascara always livens anyone's eyes, a nice thing--eyeliner and mascara is all most women need, but a very light eye shadow can be nice, and lipstick is nice if you have a shade that works for you rather than against you.
So, no woman will look natural with makeup. They can look prettier if it's applied right, or they can look like pure clowns. Models and celebs pile it on because they have to look dramatic to stand out on tv from a distance. They can afford the time and money it takes to look that way too.

You sound like someone who has a natural beauty, most women who wear makeup do so to hide imperfections, maybe you could try just basics like lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. Maybe the reason you dont look any different is because maybe you dont need to. And yes it is very true Less is definetly More. Try to experiment if your not happy with your look, go to a department store and ask them for some advice.
