There is no reason that the Progress that the military is now making in Iraq didn't take place two years ago other than the want of more "war profiteering" time.

You answered your own question with the "war profiteering" issue. I only hope a Democratically controlled Congress "can" make progress in Iraq. The "cut and run" crowd vs the "escalate until we all in Iraq crowd" will have to meet somewhere in reality. I hope they do it sooner rather than later.

Actually the democrats are making it worse. If the democrats pull the troops out prematurely, watch the genocide begin.
Five soldiers were killed the same day Nancy Pelosi got her private taxpayer funded jumbo jetliner. Ye, war profiteering.
Watch the democrats open the border to Mexico, and raise taxes to fund more welfare for lazy Americans and illegal aliens.
They call all the bickering in Congress 'democracy in action'. It is a nation becoming divided, and it's nothing but the democrats stirring things up for their own personal political gain.
This is not an opinion.

Because it takes the cowardice of democrats to cut off funding for our troops. Just like they did in Vietnam.
