i went to the dell website but i don't want to purchase from dell. it's too expensive. i want to know is if its better to stay with the PC2100 or can I use PC3200. I was reading somewhere that my computer can use either 2100 , 2700 or 3200 speed . but i'm not 100% about the source so i need your advice. some people say to play it safe and only do the 2700 ?!?!? i don't know this stuff is confusing to me!

Upgrade your memory at crucial. They have an application for determining the exact memory options available for your computer.

Go through http://www.24houredeals.com/Crucial-Technology-coupons-324-mer.html and get free shipping on that purchase.

Good Luck.

Yes you can absolutely 100% use PC3200. It will slow the speed down to PC2100 speed because that is all the comptuer will handle, but it will work.

Go to: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/product_support/en/product_support_central?c=us&l=en&s=gen

You should be able to find what you need there.
