Okay, your current damsel is going to get 4" and harrass everyone you try to put in after it: http://www.marinedepotlive.com/3-stripe-damsel---dascyllus-aruanus-fish--damsels.html

My suggestion, if you got it from a local store, trade it in on something a little more peaceful!

Hardy saltwater fish that are good for a "community" tank: firefish (1 per tank) OR scissortail goby (schooling), green OR blue reef chromis (schooling), cardinalfish (1 or 2 if a pair), longnose hawkfish (1 per tank), canary blenny (1 per tank), dwarf angelfish (1 per tank, add last), ocellaris, percula, or skunk clownfish (1 or 2 fish of the same species only). This list is more fish than your tank will accommodate. I'd go with a maximum of any four of the fish listed.

For inverts, snails (lots of different variety, up to 2 per gallon), crabs (emerald, arrow, or Sally lightfoot, no more than 1 of any kind, 2 combined tops), shrimp (1 cleaner or multiple peppermint) would be good. The tank is too small to comfortably keep any sea stars.

You can find more info on the species at these links: http://www.marinedepotlive.com/

BTW, you know you can add additional info on to your previous question - you don't have to make a new question each time.

Trust me you do NOT want to put a yellow tang in there. First they are one of the most territorial fish there are and second yellow tangs are for the most part a schooling fish....They do get about 6 inches when full grown and 20 gallons is way to small for them. Think of it this way, you wouldn't like living you whole life in your bathroom. Try putting everything you need in that bathroom and live. Don't forget your family members either!!!! LOL! You would go Crazy and it would cause you to stress out. Remember you can't leave the bathroom at all cost. The fish can not leave the tank you place them in. So if they become crowded, they become stressed the same way you did when you had to think for living your life in a small crowded space..They need at least 50 gallons per tang! Blue hippos (blue morphos- dori) need at least 80 gallons per fish. Most other tangs species also need 80+ gallons. These fish also require a special diet of spinilla, and dried seaweed to keep them heathy and free of head a lateral line disease. (HLLE) Hlle is caused by stress, water quality, and diet......Most of the time when they get HLLE they are doomed. Very hard to treat and cure. They usually die of the disease! These fish get way to big for a small 20 gallon. when you have a tang in a tank it need to be the last fish that is added.. They are territorial and will harass the other fish like you wouldn't believe. Smaller fish that are would be perfect are gobies, The yellow watchmen goby are beautiful yellow and the will pair up with pistol shrimp and share there home with them, in the sandbed. These fish have a lot of personality and are comical it watch with the pistol shrimps. They will give you hours of entertainment!!!!!! Small angels are good also, the coral beauty and bicolored angels are my favorite. They say you can only put one angel period to a tank. This is not true when it comes to these two species. I have a bicolored angel (they are halt yellow and half dark blue with blue saddles over there eyes! BEAUTIFUL!) And a coral beauty is purple with yellow one there sides and orange bellies. Also georgous. Mine reside in a 29 gallon tank peacefully! I put the bicolored in first because they are the least aggressive of the two and allowed her a few days to eshblish her territory before I placed the coral beauty in there. They have lived this way for 2 years now with NO problems! I also have 2 percula clown. This fish have a ton of personality too!
Hermit crabs are a big plus as well as emerald crabs. They keep the tank clean of waste and algea. a brittle star would be good in there also. Brittle stars need lots of hiding spaces, they prefer rock to hide in..... A eyelash blenny is also a must. They are very funny fish and like to stay in the open to be viewed. They will make you laugh! Pretty cool little fish! Make sure you do NOT over load your tank, add the fish slowly! Adding to many to fast will cause your tank to crash and you will lose fish. All that $ will be gone OUCH! Fire fish are also good but ,they are jumpers and if they find an opening they will jump out. You can't add all these fish to your tank! This is just a list of my favorites! I have had saltwater tanks now for 20+ years. They are the best. Stay on top of you maintance faithfully. Saltwater fish are expense. Get rid You can keep the damsel if you re aqua scape your aquarium he will cause problems. Move plants, rocks around, mix them up, Don't move them to the other end of the tank the same way they were, After all fish are in mix it up again, This time do it the way you like it make them once more find a new territory Do this each time you add a fish and you will find that this works wonders and the fish aren't really worried about the new fish they become worried about finding a new sleeping place, by the time they realize a new fish is added to the mix they basically don't care then everyone has an equal opportunity to find a home!!!!!!!Fish establish there territory and will defend it at all cost. If you move things around as you add fish. He will forget where his territory is and will have to reestablish a new one. This will give your new fish a chance to establish there territories. You will have to do this with each new fish you add, He is aggressive and will fight for what is his and WILL NOT let you add another fish to the mix without a fight! If you decide on angel or blennies they need nori (Dried seaweed) in there diet like tangs! The cheapest way to by this is at a asian market buy the dried nori for A LOT cheaper and it's the same stuff the pet store sells at inflated prices, You can get 10 BIG sheets this way for under 2.00 compared to 8 small sheets at the pet store for 5.00-10.00............... Hope this helped.. Have fun! Julie
