i do some i am a Permaculture Consultant for the department of Ecology for the regional government in Guerrero Mexico

If you mean on T.V. then
1. Good presentation Skills
2. Enthusiam
3. Knowledge of subject is good, but you can read off a script
i.e. be a presenter rather than a zoologist
If you mean within the wildlife community
1. Know & understand your subject
2. Go to wildlife events, join wildlife forums on internet
3. Do credible research that helps other naturalists
4. Start on something small, like badgers
5. Get experience, local zoo \ wildlife group volunteer
Whatever you do,
Treat animals with respect and dignity
Never take stupid risks

Start with knowledge of your subject. Find a method of sharing your knowledge. Be a good demonstrator and communicator with the public. Having your own niche also helps as well as gives you your own unique identity.

well... just learn your facts bout animals or wildlife you want to study and strut your stuff be charismatic and fun it will let you go far
