I would ask her first, but even if she says go ahead
it still could cause you to lose your friendship with her
I wouldn't want my friend to do that to me

I think that you know that it's wrong. Who would you pick if you had to give one of them up, the guy or your friend? If you pick your friend, then leave this guy alone and find yourself another one.
