never heard of that either - check w/your doctor, but if you have no nut allergies, i can't imagine why it would cause a problem in conceiving

I'm not sure what it has to do with the actual conception of a baby, but you only need to avoid nuts while pregnant if you have a family history of nut-type allergies. I eat peanuts and peanut butter all the time, and conceived both of my kids with no problems.

Ive never heard anything like that. Ive eaten nuts through my whole pregnancys with twins, then my singleton. They all came out just fine, maybe its an old wives tales?

No it isnt true and you will hear there is stuff you shouldnt when you are pregnant too. I ate whatever I wanted and I have a healthy 7 month old baby so eat away!

I've never heard that. Actually, almonds are VERY healthy for you! You should be eating healthfully as a "boost" for your fertility.
