The drive back to my parents' in North Wales, and most specifically the bit once I've gone along the coast, and past Bangor, off the dual carriageway, and suddenly I can see the mountains, and I turn off onto the little dirt track through the tiny villages, and I can smell Home in the air, and feel my way home with every bump and twist in the road.

the journey home after a nightshift at work the work is quiet and just beginning to stir for the trials and tribulations of the day, my second favourite is the short cut you stumble across when trying to avoid traffic jams !
