Snow Patrol one of the best bands in years came home empty handed from the brit awards with no wins in the nominations they were up for.What a Joke!! Surley best album with Eyes open,what do you think?

I think you're right and think they should have got at least one award!! I reckon the Brits were trying to give Take That an award just because of their come back and Snow Patrol should have recieved best single of the year for Chasing Cars!! Thats why the Brit awards suck!!

Awards don't matter. They're voted for by men in suits for the most part.
Listen to Snow Patrol and be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I agree. And I'd put the Feeling in the unlucky bracket too.
However with only a few categories voted for by the public, surely everyone knows the Brits are nothing more than a back-slapping party?

Can't believe Arctic Monkeys won best group - they haven't had the success this year as Snow Patrol.
And Take That only won best single cos all the 30-something women who went all nostalgic voted for them. Chasing Cars was a far better single.

I agree with you, I got the album recently and its a shame that Arctic monkeys got two but couldn't turn up for some reason! I even think Razorlight was overlooked as well.

agreed. I don't keep up with the awards ceremonies but i bought their album Eyes Open and was blown away. This cd stayed in my car stereo for over a month straight. I loved it.

I by no ability theory approximately that in the past, possibly Heather modelled herself on her... think of in the event that they swapped stylists, Heather wearing very tight stretchy stuff and Beth Ditto wearing massive granny jackets and Nineteen Eighteen Eighties tops, frightening!!

they had much great competition and they didnt do well at the grammys either they totally deserved a win after the fantastic eyes open.

Not a massive fan, but I'd rather they had won something that the Arctic Monkeys who are pretty crap really.
