fish Size: Up to 3" (7cm)
Tank size: 24 inches
Strata: Bottom, middle
PH: 6.5 to 7.5
Hardness: Soft to medium. dH range: 3.0 - 10.0
Temperature: 68ºF to 78ºF (20-25°C)

My opinions;
They are generally a hardy fish so some variation from that should be just fine. They have aggressive tendency's so be carefull about having them with other fish.

Aswell i might add that they may spawn even though you don't want them too. My albino tiger barbs tried to spawn several times; although the dominant male ate the eggs and seriously injured one of the females (he kept nipping her and pushing her against the ornaments). So i didn't end up with any fry. My male would even rub against my fingers when i cleaned the tank trying to entice me to drop eggs for him lol.

Good luck with them

Around 76-78 degrees, if you raise it up to 80-81 degrees, that helps to stimulate breeding, so keep it on the lower side.
