I think that they are more supportive to the government, which makes them more to the right.
That being said, I think that CNN, ABC, and BBC are liberal, though they deny it. At least Fox has shows like Hannity and Colmes that have an ongoing discussion between an conservative and a liberal.
I find that Fox is quite refreshing on many issues, and as a whole is a much more positive channel.
I think Fox has been successful because it won't make you feel so negative all the time. CNN almost makes me want to kill myself.

I wish that there was a news agency that printed only facts, instead of opinions. Then, they could let the reader decide on issues.

Yes.

I think Fox news is leftest, and I can show you a test score from www.politicalcompass.org that show me left of center. (http://www.ayerfam.org/Political%20Compass%20john_d_ayer.pdf)

This puts me in opposition to the really far left who think Fox news is to the right. It is, it is to the right of them and to the left of me.

The problem is that "many people" are so used to biased News Coverage they believe that "leftest" is non-biased and balanced or just slightly leftest is "far right".

Reporters put a lot of "spin" into their reports naturally. One of the most common "spins" that leftest reporters add so often we just accept it is "Many believe ******". Often they do not cite any sources, they just throw that statement in at the end of an article to prove whatever they want to prove. It is kind of like the "moral majority" or "right thinking people", except the leftists use "many people believe".

I believe, by LAW, all reporters should have to add "Many people believe I am a subjective a**hole and shouldn't be allowed to speak in public" at the end of every article, column or news report.

The thing I respect about Fox is that they have their own ideology that they present and they essentially say "we try to be objective but you know we aren't so we do the best we can to present both sides of a story."

In contrast most other networks, including CNN, could care less if you understand anything but what they want you to know.

This one sided debate has been going on so long that "many people believe" only one side of any issue should be presented.

Fox News, like all other US news stations, is a whore. They say and show the things they think people want to hear because it gets them ratings. And ratings = money for them. Thats all they care about.

True, Fox news tends to play to a more right-wing audience, but if they thought that they could make more money by playing to a left-wing audience, they would do an about-face so fast it would make your head spin. Hannity and O'Reilly would be fired overnight, youd never hear from Ann Coulter again unless she was being ridiculed, and you can believe me when I say theyd fly a Soviet flag every day if it would make them rich.

The typical answer to this question is that they are ostensibly right wing, and therefore are far from fair and balanced. Though I would agree with the assertion that they are definitely biased, it is not necessarily true that they are right wing.

Why do I say this? Well, right wing usually refers to those of the conservative persuasion. Yet, Fox News doesn’t necessarily promote and cover the values of conservatives per se, as much as they are proponents of the Republican agenda. We all know that the Republican Party of today has departed from many of the values that are central to traditional conservatism, and many true conservatives would be insulted to be called Republican. Hence to say Fox News lean to Right (aka conservative), in any true and absolute sense, is misleading. They are not pro Right Wing, they are just pro Republican.

They are right-winged and proud of it. It's common knowledge. CNN is a bunch of liberals. Try to avoid both in order to get unbiased opinions

Fair & Balanced is just an advertising slogan. It is interesting that there are members of its audience that are not quite sure what orientation to label it. Whereas, as for ABC, CBS, and NBC, there is no confusion for anyone other than the brain dead where their loyalties lie.

Define "balance" ... if your idea of well balanced is a 2 ton rock on one end of the teeter totter and a 3 day old infant on the other, then, gee, I guess I would have to say, NO balance and fair have nothing to do with Fox, Rupert Murdock, Roger Ailes, the Heritage Foundation, or anything connected to that gang of thugs.

You can't be serious. For the most part they are right/conservative. The news reporting especially has a right-bias in the way its presented.

I think they are biased right in their news as their competitors are biased left.

When they seek officials to respond to charges or to speak about events, they go to Republicans and conservative groups like the Mainstream media goes to Democrats and liberal groups. I think they are more honest about it though.
