Does any one know how to play gamecube games on the wii?

i have mario party 7 and one of those plugins to the wii controller, but whenever i start the game the wii controller turns off and i cant do anything

You're Suppose To Use The Gamecube Controller Only On The Wii If You Want To Play Gamecube Games On It And Here's An Extra Tip "If You Want Your Save Your Gamecube's Game Data When You Play It On The Wii You Have To Use Your Gamecube Memory Card to Save Your Gamecube Games Data Because The Memory Built In The Wii Will not, I repeat, WILL NOT!, Save Data From Games That Are For The Gamecube And The Built In Memory Only Saves Data From Games That Are For The Wii.

You have to use a Gamecube controller. The classic controller add-on for the Wiimote only works for Virtual Console games.
